The role of the Global People Solutions Team is to enable a people experience that is unique to CHANEL as human-centered employer, leveraging people data and digital solutions.
Alongside the development of a global technology eco-system to enable our Organization & People agenda, we are developing a consistent reporting and dashboarding approach. 2022 and beyond is the time to build momentum by developing the people analytics ambition and strategy with the relevant stakeholders while continuing to excel at delivering a sustainable production of common reports and dashboards for the organization.
We are looking to reinforce our People Analytics team with an additional Analyst role that will play a critical role in helping shape the future of People analytics, delivering our global services in terms of report and dashboards related to our core global Solutions (Workday, Learning, Talent…) as transforming data and analysis into insights and recommendations based on identified common needs. This role is based in London and will report to our Head of People Analytics.
What impact you can create/ What you will be responsible of:
Contribute to the establishment of the People Data/Analytics practice
  • Participate under the leadership of the Head of People Analytic to the identification, standardization, and implementation of data & analytics solutions, including tools and process improvements
  • Help establishing a common governance, definitions and practices within the House
  • Act as an agent of people data culture dissemination and can be involved, when appropriate, to the development and delivery of people data/people analytics learning experiences
To do so, staying at the edge of what is happening in the field of people analytics reporting and company’s best practices in this domain will be important as for every member of the People Solutions Team.
On demand people insights needs
In line with the people analytics priorities, deliver people data analysis to support data-driven business decisions and measure progress & achievements towards our one-house people commitments:
  • Execute on analytics requests, with an eye on addressing the underlying business challenge and applying contextual knowledge to scope data/insight requests
  • Research, analyze, and present data from appropriate internal databases or sources to solve business problems with high quality analytics and visualizations that drive business decisions.
  • Deliver people metrics analysis and creation of materials for Organization & People and/or business stakeholders, identifying key trends behind people data.
  • Make sure data is managed and reported in an accessible, secure, and useable way. Anticipate any data privacy and legal issues and escalate to Manager if necessary. Maintain unwavering confidentially with HR/People information
  • When needed, present to appropriate stakeholders the outcomes of the analysis, communicating a clear story telling
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reconciliation to deliver high quality and reliable data outputs
On an ad-hoc basis, contribute to the production of specific reports or dashboards to answer the needs of global Organization& People Leads and/or other global corporate teams.
Ongoing Delivery of common reports & dashboards related to core global solutions
Contribute to deliver global reports and dashboards for the organization based on improvement needs identified by the global People Solutions team and/or regional requests raised by the regions through a common ticketing system:
  • Prepare basic and complex reports as well as user-friendly dashboards in line with deadlines as well as quality & security standards
  • Troubleshooting reporting issues
  • Ensure full understanding of the request and liaise with internal counterparts as needed to elicit reporting & dashboard requirements. Update tickets along the delivery of the reporting service
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reconciliation to deliver high quality and reliable data outputs
  • Maintain high quality of process documentation relating to data reporting

What you will bring/have:
  • 4+ years of proven success in a people analytic role
  • Strong communication skills with experience working across cultures and matrix organizations
  • Superb analytical skills; hands-on experience manipulating and deriving insight from various datasets
  • Exceptional ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights and communicate results to audiences at all levels of technical expertise
  • Strong quantitative skills and confidence with analytical tools (Excel, SQL, Python, PowerBI…)
  • Solid understanding of the downstream impacts of reports and requests
  • Excellent execution skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment under tight deadlines
  • Flexibility, curiosity, enthusiasm
  • English Fluency – Additional foreign languages are a plus
